Privacy policy

This policy covers kwiktire.com, run by Kwik Tire Inc. ("Kwik Tire," "we"), a tire and wheel shop at 5483 Moreno Street, Montclair, CA 91763. It applies to information collected through this website, not to paperwork you fill out in the store.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Quote, question and fleet forms: your name, phone number, email, business name, vehicle, tire size and anything you type in the message box.
• Appointments: when you book online, the scheduler collects your name, contact details, vehicle and the service and time you choose.
• Tire and wheel searches: the vehicle or size you search for, and any contact details you enter to request a quote inside the search tools.

Information collected automatically

• Pages you visit, buttons you click (for example "Book appointment," "Call" or "Get directions"), the website or ad that sent you here, and campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or gclid).
• Device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and similar technical data.
• Cookies and similar technologies used by our analytics and advertising tools (see below).

We don't ask for and don't want sensitive information like Social Security numbers through this website.

How we use it

• To answer your request, send quotes, schedule and confirm appointments, and follow up about them.
• To set up and manage fleet accounts.
• To understand which pages, searches and ads bring customers in, and to improve the site.
• To advertise our shop, including showing ads to people who visited the site (where you haven't opted out).
• To protect the site from spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it with companies that help us run the shop and this site:

• TireConnect (tire search, pricing and quotes) and AutoSync (wheel visualizer). These tools run on our pages and receive what you enter in them.
• Our online scheduler, which receives your appointment details.
• Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads and the embedded map), which measures site use and ad performance.
• Our hosting provider and the systems that deliver form messages to our store team.
• Financing providers (Snap Finance, Synchrony), only if you choose to apply. Their own privacy policies apply to the application.

Under California law, letting advertising partners use site data to show you ads elsewhere can count as "sharing." You can opt out of that, as described below. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or if the business is sold or reorganized.

Cookies, analytics and your choices

We use Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing: ad cookies and advertising data are turned off for your visit, and only basic measurement runs. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

We also keep our own simple visit counts so we can see how the site is doing: the pages viewed, which buttons were used (book, call, directions, forms), the site or ad that sent you, your device type and an approximate city. This uses a random visit ID that lasts only while your browser tab is open. It sets no cookies, stores no IP address, and is never sold, shared with advertisers or used to identify you.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we've collected about you and how we use and share it.
• Delete personal information we've collected from you, with some exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
• Not be treated differently for using any of these rights.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and appointment information as long as we need it to serve you and keep business and tax records, then delete it or make it anonymous.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
