The Glendora Curve

The 210 and the 57 meet in Glendora, at the interchange once called the Glendora Curve. Long freeway runs are where a small imbalance turns into a shake in the steering wheel.

Route 66 on Alosta Avenue

Historic Route 66 crosses the city east to west on Alosta Avenue and Foothill Boulevard. Lots of signals and lots of stop and go. That wears the front tires first.

Up into the San Gabriels

Glendora Mountain Road and Glendora Ridge Road climb out of town into the mountains. Tight curves and long grades are hard on worn tread. Check yours before you head up.

Hot summers, wet winters

Average highs are about 90°F in July and 92°F in August. Most of the year's roughly 18 inches of rain falls in winter, and February is the wettest month. Set pressure cold, and keep enough tread for wet roads.
