Gear Off Road wheel questions
Who makes Gear Off Road wheels?
Gear Off Road is a proprietary wheel brand of American Tire Distributors. The brand says it was established in 2001.
Are Gear Off Road wheels rated for heavy-duty trucks?
On the styles we checked, Gear lists 3,700 lb load ratings on 8 lug fitments and 2,500 lb on 5 and 6 lug. We match the rating to your truck before ordering.
Can Kwik order Gear Off Road wheels?
Yes. We order through our wholesale distributors, check bolt pattern, offset, hub bore, load rating and tire size, then mount, balance and move your TPMS sensors at install.
Will I need a lift for a 20x12 Gear wheel?
It depends on the truck and the tire. Some trucks fit a 20x12 with a moderate tire on stock suspension, and some need trimming or a lift. We do not do lift kits, so we will tell you what fits as the truck sits now.
