About Ion
The Wheel Group was founded in 1997 and designs, develops and owns its own wheel brands, Ion among them. Ion's site goes by Ion Alloy Wheels.
Most of the current lineup is truck and SUV wheels in 17 to 20 inch, with widths from 9 to 12 inches and finishes like satin black, matte black and gloss black with machined or milled accents. The 141 alone spans 5, 6 and 8 lug patterns.
Ion also covers less common fitments. The 167 is a dually wheel in 16, 17 and 20 inch on 8-lug patterns, and the 71 is a machined wheel in 14 to 16 inch sizes. A separate Ion Trailer line covers trailer wheels.
Truck and SUV owners who want a clean black wheel at a sensible spec, and dually owners who have a hard time finding a matching set.
