About Achilles
Multistrada started in 1988 and builds tires at its plants in East Cikarang, outside Jakarta. Achilles and Corsa are its own brands, and the same company also makes Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal tires. Achilles is the one it sells on value.
The North American range is short on purpose: one touring all-season, one ultra-high-performance all-season, and two Desert Hawk tires for SUVs and pickups. If you're cross-shopping Achilles, the fair comparison is Arroyo, Lionhart or Nexen. Put it next to a Michelin Defender and you're looking at a different tier.
Budget-minded commuters on the 10 and the 60, and SUV owners who want a highway or light all-terrain tire without paying for a famous name.
