About Atturo
Michael Mathis founded Atturo in 2009 with the AZ800, a directional summer tire sold in a handful of niche sizes, and he still runs the company from Waukegan, Illinois. The slogan is Performance Within Reach, and the catalog has grown well past that first tire.
Trail Blade is the off-road side. It runs from the road-friendly H/T, through the A/T and the hybrid X/T, to the M/T, MTS and the aggressive Trail Blade Boss. The AZ series covers cars, with the AZ850 for performance street driving and the AZ610 for quiet touring.
In this list Atturo sits between the private-label value brands and the big off-road names like Nitto, Mickey Thompson and Falken. Its catalog is heavy on sizes for lifted trucks and Jeeps.

Trail Blade X/T or Trail Blade A/T?
The X/T is a hybrid. Atturo pairs a mud-terrain shoulder and sidewall with an all-terrain center tread. The A/T is a true all-terrain with better on-road manners. More rubber on the shoulder usually means more bite in the dirt and more hum on the freeway.
