About GT Radial
Giti started in Jakarta and grew into one of the larger tire companies in the world, with plants in China, Indonesia and the United States. GT Radial has been sold in North America for more than 25 years. The Richburg plant, Giti's first outside Asia, began production in October 2017 and builds passenger and light-truck tires for the replacement market and for automakers.
The US lineup is short and easy to read. Maxtour LX is the grand-touring all-season for cars and crossovers. Maxclimate is the all-weather tire with the three-peak mountain snowflake. The Adventuro family covers pickups and SUVs from highway (HT) through all-terrain (ATX, ATZ) to rugged terrain (RT). The Champiro SX2 RS is an extreme-performance summer tire for track days.
GT Radial publishes a mileage warranty per model: 70,000 miles on the Maxtour LX, 65,000 on the P-metric Adventuro HT, 60,000 on the Maxclimate and P-metric ATZ, with lower figures for LT sizes. It also offers a 30-day test drive, a road hazard warranty and roadside assistance. In price tier it lines up with Laufenn, Nexen and Kumho, a step below Hankook or Falken.
Value shoppers around Montclair who want a US-built touring or truck tire with a published mileage warranty, and pickup owners who need a highway or all-terrain tire from one family.
