Maxxis is the car and truck brand of Cheng Shin Rubber, a Taiwanese company that started with bicycle tires in 1967 and grew into one of the larger tire makers in the world. In the US it is best known for the RAZR truck tires and for trailer radials.

About Maxxis
Cheng Shin was founded in Yuanlin, Taiwan by Luo Jye. The company says it sells in more than 180 countries and employs more than 30,000 people. Its US arm opened near Atlanta in 1985 and moved to Suwanee, Georgia in 1987, where it still runs North American operations.
The passenger range is small and clear. Bravo HP-M3 and the Escapade MA-T1 are the touring tires, Victra Sport AS is the ultra-high-performance all-season, and MA-202 is the basic touring tire. For trucks the RAZR AT, AT-S, HT and MT cover all-terrain to mud, with the older Bravo AT-771 and HT-770 still in the lineup.
Maxxis publishes real mileage warranties, which is where it separates from the entry-level imports: 70,000 miles on the Bravo HP-M3 in H-rated sizes, 60,000 on the RAZR AT in P-metric sizes and 100,000 on the T-rated Escapade MA-T1. Priced between the budget tier and Michelin, with a warranty sheet to back it up.
