About Kelly
The company was Kelly-Springfield for most of its life. Goodyear bought it in 1935 and kept the name going as its own brand.
The lineup is simple. Edge Touring A/S and Edge Sport launched together in 2023, a commuter tire and a sportier all-season. The Edge A/T covers pickups and SUVs, with flared tread block edges to push mud and gravel out of the tread. Edge Touring Plus adds larger sizes and higher speed ratings to the Touring A/S.
It's the no-frills side of the Goodyear family. Fewer models, fewer features, same parent company.
Budget-minded commuters and second-car owners who want a tire built by a major American maker without the extra features of a flagship line.
