About Tensor
These are off-highway vehicle tires. Every Tensor model is sized for UTV wheels, 14 and 15 inch, and built on a nylon bias-ply carcass to save weight over a steel-belted truck tire. The product pages do not list DOT approval, so treat them as trail and race tires only.
The lineup is short and specific. The Regulator 2 is the all-terrain tire for recreational riding. The DS and DSR are race tires, proven at the Baja 500 and sold with no warranty. The Sand Series is a paddle setup for dunes. If you ride Glamis or the Johnson Valley trails from the Inland Empire, that covers the three jobs a side-by-side tire has to do.
Tensor's limited warranty covers Regulator Series tires against manufacturing defects for two years from the manufacture date, for the original purchaser. It does not cover racing or competitive use, and it does not include a treadwear mileage.
Side-by-side owners around Montclair who trailer out to the desert or the dunes and want a tire built for that machine. Not a fit for passenger cars, pickups or SUVs.
