About Mickey Thompson
Thompson was the first American to break 400 miles per hour, and he founded off-road racing sanctioning bodies. The tire company grew out of that racing, and the Baja names on today's truck tires point straight back to the desert.
The truck lineup is all Baja. The Baja Boss A/T is the premium hybrid all-terrain, the Baja Boss M/T is the mud-terrain, the Baja Legend EXP is a hybrid all-terrain, and the Baja Boss X is the competition-proven extreme terrain tire. On the street side, the Street Comp is built for late-model muscle cars and pro touring builds, and the Sportsman S/R is a classic hot rod radial.
When Goodyear retired Dick Cepek at the start of 2022, the Dick Cepek site started sending drivers to Mickey Thompson.
Lifted trucks and Jeeps headed to the desert or the trails above the valley, and muscle car and hot rod owners who want a tire with real racing history.
