About Nexen
Before it was Nexen, the company was Woosung Tire. The name changed to Nexen Tire Corporation in 2000.
The families are easy to follow. N'Priz is touring, N'Fera is performance, Roadian is truck and SUV, and the N5000 Platinum sits in the premium touring slot. Nexen also supplies original equipment: it lists the N'Fera AU7 as factory fitment on Volkswagens.
Nexen and Hankook are the two Korean brands on our list. They're separate companies. Nexen is the smaller of the two, with a lineup that leans on comfort and long tread warranties.
Commuters who want a comfortable tire with a long maker warranty, and truck owners after an all-terrain or mud-terrain outside the usual names.
