About Firestone
Firestone's racing history runs through Indianapolis. A car on Firestones won the 1911 race, and Firestone tires were on every Indy 500 winner from 1920 to 1966. The Firehawk name carries that history today.
The current range is practical. WeatherGrip is an all-weather touring tire for cars, minivans and crossovers. Destination A/T2 is the all-terrain for trucks and SUVs. Firehawk covers performance, from the all-season Firehawk AS to the summer Firehawk Indy 500.
Inside the Bridgestone family, Firestone is the American heritage name and Bridgestone is the flagship.
Families in minivans and crossovers who want a known American name, and truck owners who want a straightforward all-terrain.

Firestone questions
Is Firestone owned by Bridgestone?
Yes, since 1988. Firestone is headquartered in Nashville and keeps its own lineup.
Is the Firehawk Indy 500 an all-season tire?
No. Firestone sells it as a summer performance tire. In Montclair that covers most of the year, but don't take it up the mountain when there's snow. If you want a Firehawk for year-round driving, look at the Firehawk AS.
