About Falken
Falken earned its name in motorsport: Formula Drift championships in 2010 and 2011, GT class wins in the American Le Mans Series, and wins at King of the Hammers out in Johnson Valley.
For most of our customers Falken means Wildpeak. The A/T4W is a severe-snow-rated all-terrain with heavy-duty LT sizes built with towing in mind. The R/T is a rugged-terrain hybrid aimed at lifted trucks and diesel pickups. On the car side, Azenis is the performance family and Sincera is touring.
Sumitomo also bought the Dunlop brand back from Goodyear in January 2025, so Falken and Dunlop are sister brands now.
Truck owners who tow on the 15 or run the desert on weekends, and sport-sedan drivers who want a performance all-season with a motorsport background.

Falken questions
Who owns Falken?
Sumitomo Rubber Industries of Japan, since 2003. Falken's North American headquarters is in Rancho Cucamonga.
Wildpeak A/T4W or Wildpeak R/T?
The A/T4W is the all-terrain: severe-snow rated, tow-friendly, and Falken backs it with a 65,000-mile limited warranty on non-LT sizes (60,000 on LT). The R/T is a hybrid with mud-terrain style traction and a 50,000-mile limited warranty. If the truck commutes, the A/T4W is usually the better fit.
